Jeffrey Gundlach of DoubleLine Capital gave a presentation with the slide deck embedded below (come to the site to view it), titled The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire. In the presentation, he provides a number of datapoints with worrying trends for the United States and Europe.
It is a pretty interesting presentation, and at the very least should be a wake-up call to the serious problems that exist despite the rising equity markets.
